On planning.

Yesterday I spent a lovely day with the new Newcastle CU Exec, planning for the next year.

Thanks to some hard work by a wonderful colleague, there is a fabulous UCCF resource to aid this yearly planning, a resource that is known as the ‘CU Planning Game’.

It really isn’t a game, but it really is very fun, and helpful, and we had a great rime going through it together yesterday.

We started at ten in the morning, and finished at half past eight, and in the inbetween hours we made collages, stuck stickers, drew maps and ate sweets; we looked back at what had been, and thought about what come over the next year; we ate lunch and shared testimonies; we prayed and hoped and planned; and we ended the day with dinner and a team picture in town.

It was such a fun day, and so wonderful to begin to get to know the new committee a wee bit better, and to get excited about the year to come.

In summary: not a game, but still fun.
