On dinner and an invitation.

Last week Northumbria CU put on a selection of different events to welcome new students (freshers) to the university. The climax of the week was Friday dinner, with a talk on Luke 15 (The lost sons) from JJ.

Dinner was delicious – Greek food courtesy of Cafe Neon, in the Bigg Market (also Newcastle’s premier destination for a multitude of revellers, and hen and stag parties), and JJ’s talk was great – explaining that both sons in the story are lost, and that, like them we have the opportunity to return home to our kind and merciful Father.

Yummy dinner and an invitation to Uncover Jesus. A jolly good way to begin the term.

In summary: good beginnings.
