On all-of-life discipleship.

The Relay tag line is ‘discipleship training in a student context’. The practice of that makes for a pretty varied year, and looks quite different from Relay worker to Relay worker, mostly depending on the staff worker they’re supervised by.

Staff workers will take their Relay workers to committee meetings or SLOBS sessions, to missions or lunchbars, and various other obvious work-type meetings.

But, it’s not all about work. So you’ll also find some of this discipleship stuff going on in the form of a food shop, or baking, or visiting an art gallery, or, in the case of me and my poor, put-upon Relay worker, Sam, this evening: whilst folding paper napkins into Bishop’s mitres in preparation for a CU event.

New skill for Sam, and a chance to serve the CU in their evangelism, all at the same time.

Win.

In summary: equipped for life.
