On Relay: Study

One of the highlights (I think) of the Relay year is the study programme.

Relay workers are expected to spend eight hours a week on study. Four hours are spent on the core study (systematic theology – Trinity, the Cross, mission, Church, etc.) and four hours on elective study (an area of particular interest for the Relay worker).

I loved the study programme when I was on Relay, and so far, Gareth and Fiona seem to be as well. Actually, the study programme is one of my favourite things about being a Relay supervisor too. It’s a great joy to be able to chat with them about what they’ve been learning, and to see them get excited about the way it all fits together.

In summary: hard at work.
